Downtown Revitalization
The City of Aurora received a CDBG Downtown Revitalization (commercial façade/rehabilitation) Grant in November of 2022. Business and building owners located in the downtown improvement area (outlined in the image below) are able to apply for the forgivable loan funds through this program. With updates to the program approved in 2025, funds are limited to $150,000 each with the applying business matching 25% of the requested funds.
