Downtown Revitalization
The City of Aurora received a CDBG Downtown Revitalization (commercial façade/rehabilitation) Grant in November of 2022. Business and building owners located in the downtown improvement area (outlined in the image below) are able to apply for the forgivable loan funds through this program. Funds available through this program is limited to up to $50,000 with the applying business matching 25% of the requested funds. If funds go unutilized for a period of 90 days, a business may reapply for a second amount of up to $25,000 with 25% match required.
